Complaint against Amitabh Bachchan for singing incorrect national anthem before India vs Pakistan ICC World Twenty20 match
A complaint was filed against superstar Amitabh Bachchan at Ashok Nagar police station, New Delhi on Monday for allegedly singing incorrectly the national anthem during the World T20 clash between India and Pakistan.
The complaint filed by Ulhas PR states that the anthem was sung incorrectly and was of 1 minute and 22 seconds (as against the 52 seconds approximately according to the guidelines of Ministry of Home Affairs).
Bachchan was present at the Eden Garden grounds and he sang the National Anthem before the match began.
Earlier there were reports that the actor had charged Rs. 4 crore as his appearance fee during the match. However, top Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) official cleared the air, confirming that Bachchan didn’t charge a single penny.
Cricket Association of Bengal president Sourav Ganguly was quoted by Anandabazar Patrika that Bachchan paid a sum of Rs 30 lakh out of his own pocket for his stay and travel to Kolkata.
